In my opinion, the different #-H rules-of-thumb say that the farther traces are from each other, the less likely they are to crosstalk into each other. But trace distance is not the only factor in crosstalk. There are many ways to reduce crosstalk in boards. You can learn about these by taking a signal integrity training class, or reading through articles on the web. One starting place could be the archives on http://signalintegrity.com. best regards, Stephanie Goedecke Philips - SP3D Chip Design GmbH Petersbrunnerstr.17 82319 Starnberg / Germany Phone: +49-8151-270-160 Fax : +49-8151-270-200 "Gopalakrishnan Sethuraj" To: <ched_chang@xxxxxxxxxxx> <gopalakrishnan.sethuraj <si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> @wipro.com> cc: (bcc: Stephanie Goedecke/STN/SC/PHILIPS) Sent by: Subject: [SI-LIST] corss-talk and 20-H si-list-bounce@freelists .org Classification: 2002-12-02 06:54 AM Please respond to gopalakrishnan.sethuraj dear all i want to know about 20-H rule in board design and cross talk.how to reduce the cross talk noise in board.
