Julie,
Our Lisa had 10 TWO pound pups her first litter! She was magic to watch
with them. We had shredded newspaper in the whelping box. She would nurse 5
and when they got full she'd push them off and literally cover them with a
mouth full of shredded paper and wake the other five up and nurse them. We
POURED the food to her......16 cups a day at least. We started supplementing
them about 3 weeks when I started a thin puppy mush out of goat's milk,
yogurt and baby oatmeal. If you have quite pups they are full and warm. Mo
