[ SHOWGSD-L ] x-rays

I took Cassie, my very pregnant bitch, in for an x-ray today and there's a
MESS of puppies in there. I've been told that there's no sense in even trying
to count more than 8...that after that it's just guesses. We could count 9,
we're preparing for 10 or more. She's very "thick", so my vet thinks she
could be hiding a puppy or two (or 3 or 4).
With a potentially large litter, how many of you supplement? When do you
start? What is your favorite supplement? This is Cassie's first litter and
her milk is already in (she isn't due til next Tuesday), so I'm hoping that
supplementation won't be necessary, but I still want to be prepared.
Now I'm starting to stress.
