I think Barbara Williams might have important information regarding the
Health Issues that our breed faces. I am looking forward to an issue of the
Blue Book.

No, they really don't.
Look, it's a shame you ran into some health issues. That doesn't mean we
should all look at the breed like it's in dire shape. It isn't. Wonderful
litters without issues are whelped by careful breeders every day.

general are less than forthcoming about issues in particular pedigrees.
For
the most part, they aren't. You just can't paint everyone with a broad
brush
based on very, VERY limited experience in breeding dogs. Then to make the
leap that the situation would be better served bringing in a whole new set
of
genetic issues...well, that's one hell of a leap.
