The Welcome Waggin' was there, and people signed up, but it sounds like not
everyone who signed up actually worked. Last year in Colorado I worked my
tail off as did others to keep it manned. I wasn't there this year so could
not harass people into working. LOL
Next year will be different. :)

Sue, if the Welcome Waggin was active, that would be a good place to start.
At the Colorado National, I talked to quite a few people coming in the door
withouth a clue about what was happening. Although it was my first
National,
too, I had walked the grounds totally the previous days (Herding instinct,
TTest, etc., and walked the stalls, just familiarized myself. Then just
let the
newcomers ask questions. "When do the Champions show?" "Are there
puppies
for sale here?" "Do we get to touch the dogs?" just for a few of the
questions I had. It would be good to have the Welcome Waggin a more formal
introduction as well as being the friendly one...with brochures, etc.,
although there
were quite a few there last year.
