has everyone forgotten that it isn't just the sire that may have the "bad"
genes? you bitch could easily bring with her huge problems.. ones that you
will never know about until bred to the "right" male..So keep looking for
the best dog, but recognize that it ain't all him..
we have to try to stop playing Mother Nature, get on with the job of
researching lines - finding out what works with what lines and take it as it
comes..I know, this is difficult when some breeders lie through their gold
teeth about what their lines have produced, but if you can't deal with that,
then you definitely are in the wrong arena..
I certainly HOPE that breeders don't set out to produce health defects in
their puppies..It's just a matter of trying to do the best breeding..
also, you can do the same breeding three times in a row and get three
different results/concerns in the litters..
