If you read the insert that comes with the drug (not the fish stuff BTW), it is not recommended for "puppies". I don't know what age they define puppies as, but the incident I described was with an 8 week old dog; a puppy by any definition. I'm glad you haven't had a problem. I've seen a definite problem with my own eyes, from a 250mg dose for 7 days, prescribed by a vet, and it WON'T be used on puppies here, it certainly won't be bought as something labeled for fish and it most definitely WILL be included as a "DON'T" in my puppy packs.
