[ SHOWGSD-L ] travel to west to east

Here is how I look at it.
Plane fare for each person, probably $500.00. Tedi, myself, Summer and
her mother, $2,000.00. One dog, $450.00 each way, for another $900.00.
Hotel rooms, (two) five nights at about $125.00 a night, $625.00. Then there
are entry fees, food, and incidentals.
I am not going to add that up. I am thinking that maybe this year, Tedi
will go without a dog, or if I do go, we won't show. This is the result of
the economy, the costs of flying, the holding of a National on the other
coast, and getting older and wiser.
I certainly have not made a decision. The club has done a fantastic job of
showing the possibility of a great show. But, reality has a way of jumping
up and punching you in the nose, now and then.
