[ SHOWGSD-L ] sudden death

Last year the Canine Health Foundation gave a $15,000. grant to study a
cardiac gene expression in German Shepherds that causes sudden death. Has
anyone experienced this? It seems to occur when the puppy is at rest or
sleeping. Thanks for everyones help. Sue
