It is not live - at least not the Oregon addresses I looked at -- photos look
like they are at least a year old.

If you have dogs out in your yard, or if your runs are not covered by trees,
anyone can check out how many dogs are running free there, etc.
if you go onto Google and click at the top of the page
where it says Maps...(do not enter anything in the regular search box) then
enter an address in the field on the Maps page...addy, city, state,
zip, it will bring up the address on the map.
Over to the right, there is a box that says Satellite...click on that and
edge down into your own (or anyone else's backyard).
it's live, too.......and you can almost see into the windows of my house,
if
you play
with it enough! very spooky. you can see where the tipped over birdbath
is
in my yard (the squirrels did that.........
so far i can only get into my front yard...
i haven't figured out how to check the backyard yet, but i will
