I'm finally (or maybe always, but this piqued my interest) confused enough to
ask. If the National Judge chooses the 5th dog as Select # 5, and none of the
owners belong to the GSDCA, what happens? Do they not have a Select #5, it is
missing from the line-up, doesn't get the big ribbon, that year there is no
Select #5? Do they check the Membership list at that time and take it from
their hands, sending them to the locker room? or do they wait and request the
owner to send it back and then remove it from the website as being Select #5?
