It's not like the 2 cup per lb/age/whatever thing that kibble recommends, you actually have to look at your animals and adjust accordingly. My dogs have always been feed raw. One show weekend I had two judges and a couple handlers tell me my boy was to heavy, needed to cut back on his food. Actually the problem was that he's a 'couch' dog, needed to get him exercised more. Kept the food the same and have started paying closer attention to exercise and he looks much better. One thing you learn about raw is you have to ajust according to exercise level. They can gain or loose much faster than on kibble..in my experience. Dee Lauffer He did get quite a bit of exercise. I really think I fed him too much. He had been on kibble (Eukanuba or Iams as I recall) before I got him and his coat was horrible, IMO, although he was not thin. *\|/* *\|/* Ellen *\|/* *\|/* ***From w.NY*** http://www.geocities.com/jeenellyn33/ ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2005.
