I couldn't agree more Carol. Same thing with my girl at the same show who
went BOS to your boy. Horrible pictures. And I had intended to use mine to
advertise in the review, not now I guess. This seems to happen a lot
lately. Photographers who think the subject of the picture is their sign or
the judge, or just have no idea how to photograph a Shepherd. These
pictures are my trophies, the things I can look back on 10 years from now
and remember my kids, the great days we had together winning in the ring.
Remembering the friends ringside, all the silly things that happened at the
hotel or getting to and from these shows all come back looking at the
pictures of our wins. The ribbons, plaques, bowls, etc. are nice I guess
but nothing compared to my Pictures. And when the pictures are bad I feel
like I've been cheated out of something from our win. As Carol says; "clubs
please pick the very best photographers that you can." This is too
important to just hand off to a buddy or an acquaintance or just whoever
will agree to do it. Get a professional!!
