[ SHOWGSD-L ] re-my barking girl-thanks but collar doesnt work...

Thanks to all who responded about my barking girl-I figured I would have to get
a bark collar-and I did last nite-only thing is--the 2 posts (contacts) are
supposed to "touch the skin" --how is this possible with all the thick hair
around the neck--and to top it all off-she is a coat-there is no way I can get
the contacts to "touch her skin"--without shaving the hair off-which I really
dont want to do. I dont see how the contacts are supposed to "touch the skin"
of any dog with a good coat.
I put it on last nite-and tried to get it as close to the skin as I could-but
it didnt work-cause she still barked. so--another idea dosent work? I should
take it back? I dont know how to make it work.
