On the news last night a reporter said that S&R teams up here in BC Canada have
asked to go down to help and S&R down there want and need the help, and they
are awaiting U.S. approval.
People from other countries do want to help.

Wow, some real negative feelings on 'da list this AM. Give them time.
Until yesterday, when the helicopters could get up for aerial views, we were
reporting it wasn't as bad as we'd feared....until the levy failed (also
yesterday), we were reporting New Orleans was spared, remember? Think back to
the
tsunami, where relief items piled up on tarmacs because there was a lot of
difficulty getting help to people. I fear the same thing here...
