What you described is exactly one of the reasons I will not go to most
All Breed shows. <G>
No stalls is not a deal maker for us, but no parking close by EITHER
WOULD BE!
After Daytona I don't ever want to leave our dogs in a 'marked' area in
a huge hall again. We had to wade through serious diarrhea every day
to get our dogs in and out.
By Saturday we had a 12-18 dog that was getting sick...with an early
flight out the next morning. It was a long night of medication and
worry. I will leave them in the vehicle before I would do that again
if parking is close by and it is cool....
I do hope the weather IS good enough for an outdoor Specials on Saturday.
The lighting and the air and the sound is better.....plus grass.
I also like that they are judging all males .... THEN bitches.
Sure makes it easier in knowing when to get your dog ready.....<G>

I can tell we don't have a lot of all breed dog showers
here.....LOL......grroming is wide open at all breed shows.....people leave
their dogs in crates all the time, including overnight in buildings. Â I'm
not to worried about my german shepherd getting stolen though I would be a
little worried if I had a Pomeranian or equallyl small cute breed.
 Generally because dogs are visible to all,  there is a lot of piece of
mind in that you are surrounded by dog people. Â If a dog runs into a
problem in a crate...guaranteed people will step up to help out. Â I've
done it, I've witnessed it.....its one of the good things about not having a
dog locked in a stall.

I was told they were going to mark off areas for the dogs in an area next to
the
ring. I also was told there were no x-pens allowed in that area. I was
told
that there are no stalls. I was also told we can't get 500 crates into St.
Louis.
But, today I heard from Karen Taylor who said she was told by her airline
that
they would take her four 500 crates into St. Louis.
That is all I know. I may have been told wrong, but our young dog, will
not be
there. I would never leave a dog at the National unprotected. Although I
trust
everyone on the List. The rest, not so much.

Looks like we have 15 minutes to unload our dogs...but there is
apparently no place to put them...and no place to park on
"levels" A, B, C, or D.....??? Having never been there I don't
understand the "levels"....but at first glance it looks like:
No stalls...no parking...no crates...no X-pens??
Does anyone know where the dogs are allowed to be kept during
the day? ONLY the GROOMING area??
