That is exactly right. Cheri.....calm down. I noticed a small lump on my
Jenna's ( yes Jenna, I always loved that name ) neck when she was six years
old. She also had a little lump on one of her back breasts. They turned out to
be NOTHING. The one in her breast was tested and was not cancer. The vet
never did do anything with the one on her neck. It never got any bigger. The
vet said that it was a cyst. Jenna lived to be 10-1/2. I had to put her down
because of DM which was really sad because in her mind she acted like a puppy
and ate and played with the other dogs. She had gotten really weak in her back
end really fast. Anyway take Jenna to the vet and have her examined okay.

The best thing to do is take the dog to the vet and have it diagnosed. Â It
could be something as simple as a benign cyst. Â I had many cysts removed
(chest, tail, toe, breast, side etc etc) from my old companion house girl,
Anna. Â None were cancer and she lived to be 12 1/2.
