Just had a question as to the Parent Club roster. Is it alright to use
it as a mailing list, for example, to mail out fliers about your kennel.
This came up years ago, and it was voted by the board to require anyone who
used the roster as a mailing list to pay the club so much per name. Then when
I ran for president, I paid the club for the use of it. The person running
against me scanned it, and with the help of another board member used it
without paying for it. He claimed that since he scanned it, he didn't have to
pay.
As far as I know, it is still required that you pay if you use the roster,
but since others have done it without paying, maybe now it is acceptable. I
wonder if I can get my money back?
