How would the AKC defend itself when, while it doesn't support the "theory
of puppymills", they're all too eager to encourage all those
far-less-than-desirable hell holes to use the AKC to register their litters
and ensuing puppies. And don't for a minute think that the media isn't
aware of that. As much as AKC declares to support ethical breeding
practices, etc.., etc., etc., how would they defend the fact that they are
the first ones in line when it comes to getting those registration dollars?
When you straddle the fence and the ground suddenly drops beneath your
feet, it can be a bit painful.
