You gotta do what you gotta do.
If you have the benefit of country living then there may be some drawbacks.
Can't always have your cake and eat it too. I could think of worse things
like having no septic tanks at all.
Have you ever had the pleasure of using a Turkish "toilet". A septic tank
sounds great to me in comparison, hygiene and all. I think we are all
spoiled rotten.
