Mine are house dogs too BUT when a girl is in season, obviously they can't
all be together.
Give me a dog who can behave in a crate or a pen any day. There are times
they are just going to have to behave.

couldn't keep him free in the house as my own house dogs included my

was 9 at the time. i thought i'd have to find him a foster but,
thankfully, he was adopted. when she had to go out, his new owner would
leave him
in the basement. she left a radio on and provided him with comfy beds,
toys
and her dane for company. oh - before she resorted to the basement, she
had metal sheeting attached to the back of the door that led into the
kitchen<G>. it is NOT an easy situation.
