I've had 2 over the years that would shred fence like an old sweater.
IMO, nothing works like Preifert.

They are pricey but worth it and can come w/ tops too. I've seen the AKC
kennels at my local Tractor Supply and they aren't near as heavy as the
Priefert pens I have. I will warn you though, you dog may lose some enamel on
their teeth before they reconcile w/ the idea that the Priefert material
won't budge.
For traveling, I had custom dog boxes made for the van and had them shipped
from WI to PA. Steel fronts. (I take darned good care of my van, the
crates are irreplaceable!) The company is long out of business though but
you want to look for companies that make dog boxes for hounds and hunting
dogs.
