I am on my second dyson-It is the purple one - It does a very good job of picking up - I am sorry I bought this one 1. It is a very heavy machine. 2. Does not get close to the room edges 3. Not great on hard floors 4. The worst part is the little holes are always filling up and I either have to take a brush or have my husband blow them out with the air compressor. I have 3 dogs in the house and the tv room is right off the garage and we live on a farm so a lot of dirt comes in here. But this is should not be happening like this. The first was never this bad - I have a hard time with the extension being stiff and hard to maneuver. I ended up buying a Orick to use on the hard surfaces - it does a great job but cannot begin to compare to the dyson on carpeting. What I really want is concrete floors on a slant with a drain so I can just use the power washer on them or a full time cleaning lady other then my self Sally www.embroiderybysally.org ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
