I cannot believe the naivete of some of you.  Drugging has been rampant for
years.I wonder who on the list remembers a specialty in Houston ( back when
specialtieswere huge ).  It was the end of a long hot day. As the judge lined
up the winners, she announced to the whole crowd that we Texas people needed to
give our dogsa bit of an upper, adding that the handlers could probably use
one, too.  I had onevery prominent judge tell me that I needed to give my bitch
a dexadrene becauseshe had too good a temperament to show well.  Those of us
who have seen these dogs who cannot stand on all fours in the ring, but are
leaping and lunging,  excessivelypanting, recognize that bit of overdose.  Some
things simply never change.
