My vet does it by drawing blood for a DNA test for mycoplasma, but not all
breeders will accept that test, The last time I did the test about 30 days
before my bitch was due to come into heat. If you want to breed to a
certain stud , you do what the owner of the stud request, do your home work
early and find out ahead of time.
