As a vet, you are charged with taking care of the dogs we have created. As a breeder, my job is to hopefully not create problems that you have to take care of. If that means neutering a perfectly healthy show dog when a parent bloated/died early, it has been done. Now, as a breeder, should I be supplimenting my dogs to keep them alive so they can reproduce more dogs that need to be supplimented to survive? NO.
