it herself. Seems like there are a lot of people that can't post to the list
lately. Wonder why?

Having read the charges against the GSDCA's Executive Committee [Lew Bunch,
(President), Gary Szymczak, (Vice President), Bill Pfeiffer, (Treasurer),
Carmen Battaglia, (Director), and Kris Fasano, (Director)] made by seventeen
club members, I can only hope the following:
1. That if, in fact, procedure was followed and each one of the seventeen
individuals who filed charges against each of the five individuals named above
had to post the $50.00 for each charge, ($250.00 per person for a total of
$4,250), that they give one moment to think of what that amount of money might
REALLY have done for the breed and/or club they profess to love. Many German
Shepherds could have been rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed for $4,250.00.
2. That each of the individuals who filed the charges has given some thought
as to how this will forever damage the club, the breed and the individuals
named. It is so very easy to make general accusations regarding "dereliction"
of duty, "failure" to act but extremely difficult to prove and, in this case,
impossible.
Those are my hopes; here is my opinion, one which I am happy to learn I share
with many GSDCA members:
This is the most disgusting, vitriolic, pathetically vengeful attack on five
human beings who have individually done more for this club and breed than you,
the spiteful seventeen,
have ever or will ever do collectively. You're an interesting group and an
obvious one. With one exception, none of you have made any significant
contribution to the club or the breed. It's laughable that one of the
"signers" is a brand new member of the GSDCA and a known trouble maker on other
lists. Another has allegedly been suspended from the AKC in the past for
activities which were detrimental to the breed in the most basic of ways. As I
read the list of names of those being charged, I see people with many, many
credentials; as breeders, exhibitors, judges, and, sadly for them, as GSDCA
officers and Directors. Then I read the list of the "spiteful seventeen"; only
ONE of you has the right to claim those same credentials.
I will give you all credit for one thing; you are successfully tearing this
club in two and it's an insult to the rest of us who claim membership in the
GSDCA and love and respect for the German Shepherd Dog. There is no question
that there are problems within the GSDCA as there are problems in any
organization. What you have done is far more heinous and despicable than any
of the individual accusations you have made.
