[ SHOWGSD-L ] a little vent

For the last three years I have donated sketches for trophies for Sawnee Mtn
Kennel Club's shows. Both of them every year. I am a member of the club and
I figure it is the least I can do.
Of course I do the three breeds that I have been most involved with of late.
German Shepherd, Sheltie and both Collie varieties. I do those for every
show, then add a different breed or two each show (changing with each show).
Well for the last THREE shows the GSD trophy has not been picked up. This
really irritates me. It HAS been won. Well, today I made a decision.... I
am no longer doing one for the GSD until a certain handler no longer enters
these shows. If they can't be "bothered" to pick up trophies, then I shall
accomodate them and not do one. Oh, and btw.... the same holds for the
Border Collie.
For you owners out there.... if you WANT trophies make sure your handler
knows this.
I am sure this is a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.... but it
really ticks me off. A lot of thought and effort went into those
trophies... and the attitude of the winner is RUDE and uncaring at best.
