I use one tenth cc per 11 pounds the first two months, one tenth cc per 20
pounds thereafter. Â All my dogs are together.

What monthly dosage are you using?  Even at a dosage (1%) of 1 cc (10 mg)
per 100 lbs, I have seen dogs loaded with roundworms.  This has happemed in
Labradors and GSDs. Â

Do your dogs run a large pack or are they kenneled separately? This might
make the difference?   The Labradors ran in groups of 3-4 in grassy
paddocks. The GSDs lived in groups in the owners home.

Also, why is there Heartgard PLUS (contains Pyrantel) if you only need
Ivermectin to kill roundworms?

It took me 6 months of adding Pyrantel to the monthly Ivermectin dosing to get
rid of all of the roundworms in the Labradors. Until that time, adult dogs
had them and puppies were passing them in their stools.

Just asking more about just using Ivermectin because I respectfully disagree,
 based on my personal experiences.

I have used IVOMEC once a month for many, many years. �It takes care of all
buttapes, including heart worms.
