How many of you who wrote to the board if you either supported or Â
opposed the upcoming Board decision to have an LongCoat Open Class?
The reason I'm asking, is this is what I get a lot of time when asking Â
for action on a bill or ordinance.... Lots of talk, but when you go to Â
count the letters or phone calls.... Barely a trickle. I was thrilled Â
to see the clubs that wrote to the board about APHIS!! Â THRILLED!
I tend not to act on conformation (or performance) issues as I no Â
longer breed or show. Â But I'm wondering if the regional clubs ever Â
take a vote to weigh in on what the Board is doing? Â Or discuss Board Â
actions at their club.meetings?
There are a lot of grumbling about AKC board decisions, and yet how Â
many AB clubs totally discuss what position they want their delegate Â
to take? Â Or do they just leave it all up to the Delegates, then Â
complain about AKC decisions afterwards?
Just musing on a not that hot Thursday afternoon.
