[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: Why there are no newbies

My thoughts as a conformation dog newby owner. I currently have a 15 month
old male that despite what the breeder may have wanted, I sent through his
puppy classes. Now that he is beyond that, he is staying at home aggraviting
his 6 year old Uncle. I admit that he is not physically or mentally ready
forthe big boy classes at a conformation show, but it is hard to have him
sitting home when there are shows to attend. Maybe that is also part of the
problem with the lack of entries; everyone is keeping their dogs home to
grow.
