[ SHOWGSD-L ] Why there are no newbies

This has been said many times, but so that newbie=92s do have a clue, it ne=
eds to be said again. The very best dogs look great at 6 months, 9 months,=
a year, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, and so on. They do not go through st=
ages and their exceptional quality can be seen at all times. Because they =
are so good, long time breeder/judges recognize them and award them the poi=
nts at any age. An example of this would be my Reserve Winners Bitch from =
the 6-9 class at the Nationals, GV Fettuccine. There are several youngste=
rs that just never lose and go on to become Grand Victors and Grand Victrix=
es. Of course these dogs are the cream of the crop, not the average. But,=
there=92s nothing wrong with wanting to own or breed one of these stars. =
There is nothing wrong with not wanting to wait out a slow maturing dog ov=
er owning a super star. Because they are great doesn=92t mean they die you=
ng, that=92s absurd. Ask GV Quik, GV Boss and so many others that never lo=
oked bad in their entire lives, won easily and early, and lived a normal li=
fe span. Please get a clue=85the really good ones are always really good!=
