[ SHOWGSD-L ] Why even try?

permission to do so.
I can't help but wonder why there were not more CA club members at the
board
meeting. One of the reasons for coming to CA was to afford members the
opportunity to attend the board meeting. Several Club members were
recognizes and addressed the Board.
Perhaps the Board would have considered input from CA members.
Maybe it is time to just hold the board meeting in the center of the
country, save travel costs, have it in a Motel 6, and forget trying to allow
members to come.
California is an activist state, and even we didn't attend the meeting.
I have no answers, just questions. Perhaps a video meeting will solve that,
but I can't imagine sitting in front of my computer for 9 hours. On the
other hand, I was surprised even I sat through the board meeting. I am glad I
did, but I sure was exhausted by the time it was over. I can't imagine how
the board members felt.
