Jane you are so right. I am so tired of people saying they have or want
a puppy out of a working line. A working dog is any dog that works
whether its herding, obedience, shutzhund or whatever. I didn't know
that is a special line. Just because the sire & dam has a herding,
obedience, shutzhund or whatever title does not mean the progeny is
automatically going to be a title holder in one of the the above titles.
Another example is a pup comes from a long line of conformation
champions does not say the pup will automatically beome a conformation
champion. Jane as you posted a dog that is bred to the standed can get
any title that the owner wants weather its herding, conformation, search
and rescue, obedience, shutzhund and on and on and on. Its what they
want to put into the time and training of their dog. A German Shepherd
is a German Shepherd is a German Shepherd. Its our great breed. Jane I
love your post (THANK YOU). It great. JMO. Have a great day
Louie
