[ SHOWGSD-L ] Whelping boxes

I've noticed that many of you use a kiddie pool for whelping boxes for
your litters. My question is this.....how does this kind of set up
prevent the mother from "squishing" her babies? The whelping boxes that
I've always used had a railing around the inside of the box to prevent
this from happening. Barbara
