One of the things I do for the Board is the Board Members Orientation Guide.
One paragraph says:
THE BOARD MEMBERS FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY TO THE CLUB:
The Board is entrusted by the membership to manage the clubs funds, which are
applied to achieve the objectives of the club.
Therefore,It would seem appropriate for members to ask questions about the
finances.

Showing dogs is for our enjoyment. We are not eliminating world hunger,
solving the problems of genocide, eliminating disease, or finding a cure for
cancer.
Its a big stretch to say the board is not appreciated just because there are
questions and suggestions.
I call that a twist. And it feels like we are playing Twister!
It amazes me how much discussion we are having about something as simple as
a balanced check book, and the consideration of expenses.
Lets wait until the club is in trouble to take care it. Apparently is not
important until then.
