Ellen, your point is, of course, on target. (Except for the "guardian" word)
Need to go further, though. Vegetarians are Vegan light. The Vegan
philosophy is that NO animal is to be used for any purpose. NONE, NADA, NIL,
ZILCH.
No companion animals, not leather for the shoes, No wool clothes, not even
silk blouses!! (Do silkworms suffer?). No milk for the babies, goat OR cow.
no
cod liver oil or birth control pills. No medical research with animals.
