At last I can give a fact. I was there.
Margy called me at the national and gave me authority to settle all the
litigation. Her terms were that the board members who were accusing her were
to leave her alone. Nothing more was asked.
I relayed that to the president at the time in person, and he told me that
the club was not interested in that, and that they intended to take it all
the way.
I relayed that to Margy and removed myself from being involved in any way.
Now,that is the truth, and I was there.
I have heard there was a later offer to settle, but the board voted against
it. But, I was not there, I don't know the terms and I have no personal
knowledge of it.
