I'm so sorry Stormy - I try not to break rules and I know "congrats" should 
be private - I'm just so happy to see a living dog achieve all these working 
and conformation titles, and now one that stamps his producing ability!

I don't think I have ever been so excited over a major reserve in my 
life, but today's major reserve was very special as "pending 
confirmation" Strider completed his ROM!  So now GCh. Rohan's Reward 
TC,CGC,HT,RE,CDX,CHIC can add another set of initials to his name. 

His son Magnum,  Covy Tucker Hill's Fireworks of Showboat, won his 
9-12 class and then went Reserve Winner's Dog for a major reserve.  In 
the winners, Magnum was moved up to second and all I could think of 
was, right now I don't care about the points, I just would like the 
reserve!  So when the judge pointed to Magnum for the reserve, I 
jumped, screamed, whatever for joy.  I am sure the non GSD people 
thought I was crazy for getting so excited about a reserve!  LOL Thank 
you to judge Peri Norman who judged the Coyote Hills KC show in 
Northern California. 

There are so many people to thank as it really takes a village to make 
some of these wonderful things happen. 

First and foremost to my wonderful friend and handler, Art Sinclair 
who not only finished Strider for both his Championship and his Grand 
Championship, as a veteran, but who has always been so supportive of 
Strider both as a show dog and as a stud dog. Art has also been the 
one at the helm in finishing the majority of Strider's champions and 
qualifiers. I still remember the day that he and Linda went up to see 
the litter of puppies at Bobby Kindy's place and called me and said 
you better go up and get this one. 

To the late Janice Staley, who was the first to really see Strider's 
attributes and the strength of his pedigree, followed by Cappy Pottle 
and Gloria Birch who also saw what he could contribute to their 
breeding program.  To Bobby Kindy for breeding Strider, who is indeed 
my heart dog and has not failed me in all the venues in which we have 
participated.  To Chris Simmons and Tracy Radigan, Lissa Cunningham, & 
Paul Root who also bred to him and produced progeny that helped 
Strider achieve his ROM. And to the other breeders who have Strider 
kids that are just starting their show careers. Thank you to the 
owners of the Strider kids who showed them.  Thanks to Debbie Hopkins 
who has trained and conditioned some of Strider's progeny and who also 
grooms his kids and has taken them back into the ring and put points 
on them.  To Bill Petterson, who co-owns three of Strider's kids with 
me for his support through out this whole process. To Karen Taylor who 
also has been very supportive of Strider and his progeny and has given 
me great advice when I  have asked for it. 

Geesh, I am sure I am forgetting someone but I am a little excited so 
please accept my apology if I may have missed you.  This is my first 
ROM on a dog that lives with me and is my dog.  (I was the co-owner on 
the others) A big thank you to ringside who were so great in sharing 
my excitement and giving me hugs and kisses.  It was great to do this 
at a local major show where all my friends were there and knew what it 
meant when the judge pointed to Magnum for the reserve.  I wish some 
of my special out of town friends could have been there, but I made 
sure that they heard the news! 

Doing a major ROM dance in Oakland, California!!!!!
