There is a point where I think we need to show a little compassion for
humanity. Many years ago, we had a 9 month old Dalmatian pup returned to us -
she was too much work, too much stress going on and whatever. When the gal
dropped her off, it was quite evident that both the dog and the woman had been
physically, if not verbally abused by the husband... Whatever the story was, I
was happy to have Lexi back.
Lexi went to live with some friends of mine and although she fancied herself as
the husband's dog, Mark said that for the next 13 years of her life, if he ever
raised a hand or a foot, the dog would hit the deck..
If I were you, I would be very Thankful the dog came back to you and for
whatever the reason - the alternatives would have been much worse.
Not all people are looking for the easy way out...
