Tom, In your response to my original post you state: "Your post
seems to suggest that maybe clubs should
find some incompetent judges that won't find the
superstar(s)." (snipped). Superstars was probably a poor choice of
words in terms of what I was trying to get across. I believe that
clubs trying to get large entries should realize that in attempting to
attract good entries year after year might want to find experienced
and knowledgeable judges who do not play the "celebrity" game that IMO
has corrupted our sport. Then again bringing in judges with integrity
may lead some exhibitors not to show up. People disagree with me but
there are too many otherwise good judges who behave this way. Saying
the truth as I see it doesn't discredit our judges. There are a lot
of very good judges who do not play the game the way I describe. Jim
