[ SHOWGSD-L ] Trophies - What do you want?

I used to love the Vegas shows. The ribbons all had a silver dollar in the
middle. I haven't seen that for years now.
We did get a great silver tea set for going Winner's Bitch at the
National. Now, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I don't remember ever
serving
tea at our home, and it was engraved with the GSDCA on it. Tarnish is not
your friend.
We met a judge after a show one time at the airport. He was given a ceramic
vase in the shape of a German shepherd. As we were leaving I noticed he
had left it behind. I brought it to his attention, and he told me to shut
up.
It is best to get something for a judge that they can put in the suitcase.
Fruit is not that good.
As for trophies, something that can be used is always good. The Long Beach
Club has purchased a big supply of spray bottle with their logo on them.
The only problem is they blow off the table. So, at the first show, I put
water in each one. Summer was upset because I used her water bottle to fill
from.
Everyone can use a towel.
