No no no no no! ;)
Evan is absolutely correct in stating white with red was the original
IS color which nearly went extinct! But the Irish Red & White Setter
has long been established as a totally separate breed, both here and
abroad. They won't be joining the Irish Setter anytime soon... unless
you are talking about the Group ring. We like 'em just where they are
and just the way they are! I sure hope they can join the AKC Sporting
Group very soon! They're like our dogs' long lost relatives... ;)
