Tedi deals with the bitches who are pregnant, but I do have a client now and
then who is pregnant, and I can tell you what I do.

Never give a pregnant woman bad advice. It just upsets them and makes them
angry.

Never give a pregnant woman good advice. It just upsets them and makes them
angry.

Never ask a pregnant woman a question that might upset them. And, always
remember if you question a pregnant woman, it will upset her.

Never answer the question of a pregnant woman, "Do I look fat to you?" The
proper response is to leave the room and send in another woman, pregnant or
not, to discuss it with her.

Never answer the question, "Do you think pregnant woman are attractive?" See
above.

Other than that, I have no advice on dealing with pregnant bitches.

Evan

Nothing, nothing, nothing! And check that you don't have too much calcium in
the puppy food which can lead to uterine inertia and/or eclampsia. Calcium to
phosphorous should be 1:1.

(I just keep a gal on adult or if I feel she needs a bit more, performance,
again, checking the calcium.)

I’d be interested in replies to this also.

One thing that I don’t do is to use anything chemical (ie heart guard,
flea/tick applications, immunizations, fancy shampoos) during the pregnancy nor
while she’s nursing. I have her on puppy food now. What else can I do to
naturally supplement her.

Thank you

Mary-Anne

Good evening! Does anyone have any tips regarding the pregnant bitch? Any
additions to her diet? Supplements?

What do you do regarding monthly heart guard tablets and flea/tick
applications?

Thank you,
Sarah
