I agree with all mentioned in the above post. If the reason for
incorporating import dogs is to produce a better American styled German
Shepherd
then by all means have at it. And I see no problem with discussing it on the
list. If we discuss the success and the failures in these breedings we all
learn. I though that's what the list was for. I have been involved in using two
German bitches and to be honest so far I have produced some nice sound pets but
not what I want, And so the lament of the breeder, maybe the next litter. On
the other hand Dan Smith [Darby Dan Kennels] using a bitch he got from me
produced a select bitch when bred to a German Import. Darby Dan's Eve.
Hopefully I
