Kathy and Ken came to the rescue of a GSD that needed medical help. The story
is one of how a group of GSD lovers put the word out to the world that they
were trying to find one dog , Nixie, that was suffering with eye problems. She
was found, shipped to the Tanks and needed eye surgery. The expenses were high
and one very bright man came up with the suggestion that if a lot of people
chipped in a few dollars each, we could help to cover the much needed surgery.
The surgery is now done and Nixie is recovering with the Tanks. Ken & Kathy
didn't ask for financial help, but times are hard for everyone and this dog
needed care to be able to see.
The story is on Face Book, but I don't know how to instruct people to look for
it. This is the story of how dedicated people can locate this one dog by
pulling together and get the medical care she needed. Maybe a few more people
can chip in if the word gets out.
We can move mountains when we pull together

either Kathy nor Ken Tank have reached out for help, but others in the GSD
community feel its only fair we all ship in and help them save this girl.
o, on Facebook, some brilliant math person did the number, and if everyone
could send $1 or 400 people send in $12, we could greatly impact the vet
ills for this dog.
