I have a close friend who obedience trains mostly GSDs. He just told me he had an older client come to his class with her dog that needed some work. The trainer asked some questions about her shepherd & the client had to tell him that her dog was half German Shepherd and the other half police dog. It was difficult not to smile after that one. But back in the 60's or so most people called the GSD police dogs. Anyway my friend nicely explained a couple of things to the new client after that.;o) She was a bit embarrassed. This morning I'm walking my German shepherd & an older lady stopped to ask if my dog was a wolf. She had a very broken European accent & then asked my friend I was walking with what kind of dog he had which is a Catahoula that most people have no idea about. Both of those parties were people in their 60's and liked learning. So it doesn't matter how old we are we learn something new each day. Kathy Partch www.JoKaySedona.com <http://www.jokaysedona.com/>
