Statistics show that married people live longer, are happier, make more money
and have less stress. Had I of know this 55 years ago I would have married 10
wives. But alas, too late.

Sounds familiar. Last June after "V" finished his Championship and came home,
he bit a neighbors kid. 13 y/o boy who had been warned time and time again to
never tease, jump or run from a GSD. Well he did all 3 and "V" got him on the
thigh. Contacted the local GSD Club about a good trainer and Renita Burnette
was recommended. To make a long story short, We will be married May 2nd with
the blessing of "V". I really owe this dog "big time". Single for 23 years and
swore I wound never marry again. That said, I could not be happier!!

Tomorrow will be our 55th Wedding Anniversary. Linda was chosen for me by my
dog Heidi. Heidi was a very smart German Shepherd and she fell in love with
Linda and made that life decision for me and with me.
Yes, I really did take my dog with me on dates and if the girl we were dating
objected, then that was the last date. After all, there are a lot of girls in
the world, but only one Heidi. Heidi chose well and it has worked. We have a
long and memorable history of dogs that we have loved, and we share a
commitment to this breed and to their welfare.
So a long and enjoyable marriage should start and be sustained by the presence
of a good German Shepherd. All of our children and grandchildren have been
loved by and raised by a German Shepherd.
