I think Ed and Ruth have spoken for many of us. I see - again - the same
names coming up that have been "droning" over the membership for many years.
Just like Ed said - there are a lot of capable members who would be willing
to lead this club - and do it with integrity and love of people and dogs,
but they never get a chance. We need new faces and a new outlook for this
club, not the same old, same old.
I will miss Tish.

I could have written this - my thoughts exactly. This group has been so
invested in keeping the membership in the dark that I do not see it suddenly
getting better. I will miss the Review on months where it actually has
content.
I know all the arguments for staying, but I do not want to support an
organization that is not open and pro-membership. My guess after current
memberships expire it will be a bit smaller and a less diverse group.

First let me say I mean no disrespect to the winners or the folks who voted
in this past BOD election and I wish Frank and the new Board much
success....here is MY problem....once again we ( not me) voted in
lifers!...and many of this group of lifers were on board ( no pun intended)
during 'Hunt Gate"...."Margery lawsuit gate"...
Closed Session Gate"...and who knows how many other "Gates" they were
involved with....I still don't know what happened with Margery and until
Dec. 31 I am a member of this club and I have a right to know, but the
Lifers don't want us to know. If you do what you've always done you'll get
what you've always got!...and that's what we ( not me) as voters seem to be
doing...there are many other talented folks who want to serve on this
BOD but because of the human name recognition disease, new folks have very
little chance of serving.....so until we ( not me) change the by-laws to get
rid of the lifers....my next Review will be my last...I can use the 67 bucks
to take Sheila out to lunch......Ed Hill
