OK, it is Monday and back to reality: well if you can call sitting on
the
balcony of Loews Coronado Resort in sunny San Diego looking out over
the ocean
and drinking a glass of wine my normal "reality". For me, it's not,
but this is
a lovely place and I am glad to be here on business.
Anyway, I wanted to post my warm thanks for all who attended the SE
Futurity
and 2 specialty shows in Forest City this past weekend. I was truly
blown away
with the attendance and the great fun we all had. We can't do it
without you
all.
The raffle was awesome and I got some great ideas to make it even
better next
year. Thanks to Bob Lindsay and Mary Tripp for their very generous
gifts to the
raffle...I was so happy to have Mary's 3 wonderful metal art objects
and Bob's
weekend of video to offer as raffle prizes this year. You guys are the
best.
Thanks to those who bought raffle tickets. Our club usually takes our
split and
donates it to a rescue group.
The dogs were wonderful and I appreciate the effort you all put into
getting
to our shows. I know that there can only be limited winners, but the
quality
was top notch and very deep. I had to miss Sunday due to travel, but
It was a
great time. I look forward to seeing you all again next year! Warm
